Welcome to the Bridge to Brisbane - September 11

In 2011 The Sunday Mail Suncorp Bridge to Brisbane event will be bigger and better than ever. Over 45,000 anticipated competitors of all ages and fitness levels will take part in the annual event, making it Queensland’s biggest fun run.

Everyone is encouraged to participate and you don’t need to be an elite athlete to join in, just choose the 10km or 5km course then run or walk your way across the finish line, over the Gateway Bridge and into the RNA Showgrounds.
The fun doesn’t stop there! The Race Village will come alive after the event from 7:00am – 12noon with expo stalls, live entertainment and food vendors. Grab some brekkie and meet your family and friends in front of the stage and enjoy great entertainment, official presentations and be sure to stay for the Suzuki car draw where all participants automatically go into the running to WIN a brand new Suzuki Swift!
By participating in the annual event, you will be providing valuable support to this year’s beneficiary, Legacy. Legacy is dedicated to caring for the families of deceased veterans and today is assisting over 100,000 widows and 1900 children and dependants with a disability.

Moorooka Boot Camp 5:30am and 6:30am Fitness Test Results from Thursday May 12

Despite the cold start the Moorooka boot campers took on their first fitness test this morning. As mentioned during the session, these results will be used as a guide to see how your training is coming along. The test will be repeated in 4 weeks time so keep training hard and the results will show! Follow the 'read more' link below to see the results.
See you all Saturday 7am at the Tarragindi studio for the walk and run club!

Overdue Kokoda Challenge Waivers

There are still a few people who have outstanding waivers that are due in order to take part in the Kokoda Challenge Brisbane this coming Sunday 29 May. If you have not completed and returned this waiver could you please do so immediately. It can be faxed, emailed or mailed back.

This waiver can be downloaded here: https://www.kokodachallenge.com/files/waiver_indemnity_bkc_180411_1003.pdf.

The course map can be downloaded here: https://www.kokodachallenge.com/files/brisbane_kc_map_raw_amended_12_april.jpg.

Looking forward to a great day and some great feedback to encourage a larger Drive Fitness team showing next year. All the best to all 17 Drive Fitness participants - see you at the finish line!
